Haven't seen the prompt yet but wanted to post my journal cover and first page.
gave been thning about 10 goals for 2008 - didn't realise how tricky it would be.
Have got it narrowed down to words_
GOALS
1. Acceptance - learning to enjoy what I have got and not dwell on what I haven't achieved.
2. Movment - a key word for me this year I have to get my leg healed and get myself up and about , I really am sick of being an invalid!
3. Patience - to ensure that I allow my family, friends and my students a little bit more time, I will try hard NOT to jump in with opinions or get frustrated so quickly when things don't happen at the speed I expect.
4. Enjoyment - 2007 was a difficult year in more ways than one I really want to enjoy 2008 and embrace everything it has to offer me.
5. Create - I love my hobby with a passion, the more I push my self the more I get out of it. I want to keep up the momentum and continue to create great or even good pages. I need to focus more telling my stories so I hope that the 365 challenge will push me to do just that.
6. Frugal - I have to kerb some of my spending habits - learn to get on with what I have. My stash really does not have to be updated evry 2 weeks!!!
7. Educate- I want not only to educate my children and do a good job at teavhing my students I hope that this is a year when I can learn more - be it more knowledge of my Cannon D80, new scrapping skills, learning more Arabic.
8. Svelte- Ok a bit much but I really want to get back down to post Kuwait weight!!! I put on over 20kilos since moving here 10yrs ago ( ok I have had 2 kids ) I have managed to lose 12kilos so far and I really want to get under the 65kilo bracket by the summer,
9. Consideration - I really feel that my behaviour at times is a wee bit selfish this year i want to put my family first and make a conscientious effort to thiunk about their needs before my own.
10. Focus - Gave things more attention try not to be super woman and do 100things half way ok focus on the achievable goals and work hard to gain them!!
WOAHHH that was hard but I think worthwhile - I will print this out put in my journal and reflect upon them over the course of the 365 challenge.
