"You, whose day it is, get out your rainbow colors and make it beautiful."
Traditional Nootka song
Show me colour in your life today
It's cold here in Kuwait - bitter cold !! The winds have shifted and are now blowing in from Iran . With the cold comes a lethargy, people bundled up, heads down and with a new source for complaint. Me I don't mind the cold ( well it's not as bad as elsewhere on the planet - let's face it!!! ) I love to wear my layers, beats getting out the flab in a bikini! I also get to flaunt my colourful collection of scarfs and pashminas as I have journalled above a splash of colour gives me an instant lift.
The little nook at home where I create and work is full of colour it's my place in the home and it's full of textiles and textures spanning the entire rainbow palette sitting here is a tonic initself- I often find my kids drawn to it too, to play their games or read their books so obviously like me they have inheritied the " rainbow gene "!!!!

Ahhhhhhh Tesco's.. I miss Tesco's.
Back home we have a Tesco's right next to a Marks & Spencers. You can do some serious shopping in those 2 places. LOL.

Those colours look so cosy, no wonder the children are drawn to your creating nook. I can just see myself snuggled up on those cushions with a good book.
Yours photos always tell a story, I just enjoy seeing them so much :)
